On-line application forms are invited from the candidates on the website of OJAS to prepare a merit-based selection list by conducting a competitive examination for the posts of Head Clerk, Class-III category for the posts of Head Clerk, Class-III category, for the offices of Head of Departments under the control of Secretariat Departments by the Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board, Gandhinagar.

However, this matter will be subject to the judgment of SLP No.14124/2012 and SLP No.14125/2012 filed in the Supreme Court.
Nationality
Candidate should be a citizen of India. Or should possess the nationality as provided in Rule-7 of the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
Education Qualification
To be eligible for appointment through direct recruitment, the candidate must possess a bachelor's degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central. Candidates without such educational qualification should not apply.
Computer knowledge
Certificate from any training institute that the candidate has basic knowledge of computer as per the syllabus prescribed vide Government Resolution No:-CRR-10-2007-120320-25 dated 13/08/2008 and dated 18/03/2016 of the General Administration Department of the State Government. Should possess mark sheet, or any diploma degree or certificate course in computer knowledge from a government recognized university or institute or certificates having computer as a subject in degree or diploma course or passed class-10 or class-12 examination with computer subject Candidates who do not possess such certificates can also apply at this stage. But such candidates will have to produce such certificate of passing Basic Knowledge of Computer before the Appointing Authority before getting appointment. Otherwise the Appointing Authority may "cancel" the selection of the candidates in such cases.
Age limit
Candidate's age should not exceed 35 years from the date of application for the post of Head Clerk, Class III.
Exam Fee
All candidates who have selected (indicated) “General” category while filling the form (other than PH not Ex-Serviceman category) will have to pay the examination fee.
Candidates who select the following category in the application form will not have to pay any kind of examination fee.
1. Scheduled Castes (SC)
2. Scheduled Caste (ST)
3. Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC)
4. Economically Weaker Sections
5. Ex-servicemen (Ex.Servicenn) of all categories
6. Physically Handicapped Candidates (PH) of all categories
Exam Pattern
The Board shall conduct preliminary verification of the applications received online within the prescribed time limit (whether more than one application has been applied? and whether the examination fee has been paid?) of the eligible candidates vide Notification No. G5/2016 dated 25/07/2016 of the General Administration Department of the State Government. /4/ {BIN/102016/202014/K as per the pattern of examination as per (1) Written Competitive Test (OMR) Part-I in the first stage and (2) Computer of three times the candidates estimated category wise on the merit basis of the total number of seats in the second stage. Two tests will be conducted: Proficiency (Efficiency) Test Part-R. The details of which will be as follows.

General instructions
The details filled by the candidate in the application form will be considered final for the entire recruitment process and the proofs must be submitted in original at the time of verification of certificates otherwise the candidature will be "cancelled" at that stage.
Candidates are required to keep more than one copy of their passport size photo which they upload in the application form and use the same photo copy throughout the recruitment process of this advertisement. (Such as at the time of examination to be affixed in the attendance sheet and at the time of verification of original certificates also a copy of the same photo has to be submitted.
