Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation invites online application forms from candidates for preparation of selection/waiting list for direct recruitment (fixed pay) posts of the below mentioned levels. Online application has to be made during the period mentioned below. Exam information :

1) Based on the online application details as per weightage of merit 0.M.R. Candidates determined to be eligible will be called for a competitive written test by the method.

2) A competitive written test will be conducted by O.M.R method of 100 marks as per the syllabus as mentioned in the advertisement and the duration will be 2:00 hours. A minimum of 40 marks should be obtained to pass this test.

3) Candidates securing less than 40 marks will be considered failed. 4) In the question paper of the main examination, the syllabus and subject matter will be question paper (OM,R.) corresponding to the subjects of general knowledge and minimum educational qualification of the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

5) The medium of examination will be in Gujarati except English Grammar (10th standard).

6) Each question will carry 01 (one) marks.

- Instructions for First-Aid Certificate and Conductor's License:

1. The candidate has to indicate the details of the valid first-aid certificate in the online application form while applying online. If the first-aid certificate shown in the online application form is not valid on the date of application, the application form will be cancelled.

2. If there is no valid first-aid certificate or the valid first-aid certificate has expired, the fee for obtaining a new first-aid certificate or provisional certificate can be applied online based on the same fee as the online application based on the fee. Provisional Certificate or Valid First-Aid Certificate obtained on the basis of access shall be valid and shall be produced at the time of document verification, otherwise the decision taken by the Corporation shall be binding on the candidate.

3. The candidate applying online has to indicate the details of valid conductor license in the online application form. If the conductor license shown in the online application form is not valid on the date of application, the application form will be cancelled.

Ex-Serviceman :

1. Ex-serviceman candidates have to provide details in the application form. Ex-serviceman candidate has to submit a copy of discharge book, identity card, certificate etc.

2. Ex-serviceman candidates who have served not less than six months consecutively in Naval, Air and Armed Forces and have regularly retired from service and possess identity card/certificate of competent authority as ex-serviceman and discharge book of duty rendered within the upper age limit. In addition to the period, a relaxation of up to three (3) years will be available. But under no circumstances age should be more than 45 years.

3. If a suitable ex-serviceman candidate is not available for the reserved posts of ex-serviceman candidates, his/her post may be given to other candidates of the same rank.

Female Candidate :

If a suitable female candidate is not available for the posts reserved for women candidates, the posts allotted to male candidates of that grade may be appointed.

Athlete candidate :

As per the revised provision made from time to time as stated in the resolution dated 25/2/1980 of the General Administration Department of the Govt., the competitive examination obtained in recognized professional bodies i.e. OM.R. 5% of the marks passed in the written test of the examination system will be eligible for the benefit as prescribed. But they will have to produce the necessary certificate obtained in the prescribed format at the time of document verification. If such certificate is not submitted on time, the application form will be cancelled.

No Objection Certificate (N.O.C) :

Officers/Employees serving in Government/Semi-Government/Government-Owned Corporations/Companies of Gujarat Government may apply online in respect of the Corporation's advertisement and the same shall be intimated by the candidate to his/her Departmental Account/Office within 7 days from the date of application and obtaining "No Objection Certificate". will be At the time of document verification in person you have to produce "No Objection Certificate" as per the model. Educational Qualification :

1. Certificate marksheet of minimum educational qualification, additional educational qualification for priority, age, caste, computer certificate, conductor license base valid first-aid certificate etc. will be considered as on the date of application form, later certificates will not be accepted.

2. Class 10th pass certificate will be recognized by the Board of Education and other equivalent boards. ૐ Class 12 pass certificate And higher.M.Sc.Board and other equivalent boards will be recognized.

4. In case of Degree (Graduate) course of 10+23 or more years will be considered as Degree (Graduate).

5. In case of diploma (1003 or more years course in case of diploma done after standard-10th or 12+2 or more years of separate course in case of diploma done after standard-12th) only course will be considered valid.

6. Training qualification such as P.T.C.A.T.D./B.Ed./B.P.Ed./C.P.Ed., etc. as 10 passes will not be accepted by the Corporation for this advertisement of the Corporation.
